The Partnership to End Childhood Hunger in Maryland

The Partnership to End Childhood Hunger in Maryland is a coalition of food-service providers, non-profits, community groups, advocates, faith communities, public and civic agencies that actively partner to end childhood hunger. Our objective is to increase food security for our state’s families, leveraging federal nutrition programs as a key strategy in this work. The Partnership was formed in 2008 and has been able to work closely with leaders throughout the state to address this vital need.

What We Do

The Partnership to End Childhood Hunger in Maryland has prioritized enhancing food access by working towards expanding participation in School Breakfast, After School, Summer Meals, Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) and Food Supplement Programs (FSP) for Marylanders. The Partnership works with local school systems and non-profit organizations, faith-based leaders as well as members of the Maryland General Assembly, along with coordinating with state and county agencies to reach our goals.
